I independently developed and taught an online embroidery course for the learning platform Skillshare, focused on mastering the French Knot—a decorative stitch that many find deceptively tricky. Created as part of a platform-wide craft initiative and launched in July 2016, my workshop offered practical tips and techniques for achieving consistent results, guiding learners through a hands-on project to develop their new skills while creating a one-of-a-kind ombré pendant.
I crafted the entire class from concept to launch, including lesson planning, project design, technique demonstrations, filming, editing, voiceover, and visual branding. The structure was designed for clarity and accessibility, blending technical instruction with clear visual guidance. While the course is no longer available due to platform restructuring, it reached hundreds of learners and remained active for several years.
